Lindsey Jones — Hospital Manager
Lindsey has been a part of the team since January, 2018. She moved around often growing up, living in Southport, Mooresville, and Clarkston, Michigan, along with Evansville, Indiana, but she now currently resides in McCordsville, Indiana. Lindsey received a BS degree in Biology from Purdue University and has 15 years in the healthcare industry, working in infertility, orthopedics, and family practice and allergy.
She is married to her husband Jeff, and they have three children, Elizabeth, Logan, and Bella, and a guinea pig named, Baby. In her spare time, Lindsey loves reading, cooking and baking. She is a dedicated soccer and cheerleading mom as the kids keep her busy!
Brittany Hughes — Veterinary Assistant
Brittany has been with Geist Station Animal Hospital since 2013, starting under the instruction of Dr. Metzger. She is currently attending Ivy Tech in the school of Paramedic Science and will be finishing up her Biology/Pre-med degree at Ball State University.
She grew up in Fortville, Indiana, always having animals in the house. She has a rabbit, a dog and a cat. Her favorite part about working at here is getting to see the many different animals that come in.
Marissa True — Veterinary Assistant
Marissa joined us in July of 2017. She is currently a senior at Mount Vernon High School, and plans to attend IUPUI for business management. Marissa grew up around Avon, IN and just recently moved to the area.
At home, Marissa has two cats named Mila and Sophie, and a dog named Radar. Her favorite part about working at Geist Station Animal Hospital is seeing all the different furry faces.
Sarah Brown — Veterinary Assistant
Sarah has worked as a Veterinary Assistant for seven years. She attended Penn Foster College for Veterinary Technology. Sarah has a special interest in behavior, preventative care, client education, and cytology.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her daughter and their dog Scooby.
Olivia Huston — Veterinary Assistant
Olivia grew up in the Anderson area, graduating from Harrison College in 2012 with a Veterinary Technology degree. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 6 years.
At home, Olivia likes to spend time with her son Gavin and their family and friends. Their pets include their Golden Retriever named Graham, the newest member of the family a Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy named Wrangler, a cat Dahlia and Gavin's guinea pig Felicia. In her spare time, Olivia competes and handles a variety of dogs in AKC sanctioned dog shows. She also enjoys being active as a leader in the Madison County K9 4H Club.
Alaina Shoemaker — Pet Groomer
Alaina has been a part of the Geist Station Animal Hospital family since January of 2018. She graduated from Grooming School of Indiana and received the All-Breed Professional Pet Groomers Course diploma. Since graduating, she has continued to grow her knowledge in pet grooming and styling techniques. Alaina has a deep passion for making your furry family members look their best. She prides herself on providing a relaxing atmosphere for pets of all kinds.
Alaina has three pets of her own, a dog named Sadie, a bunny named Bentley, and a fish named Sushi. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, hiking at state parks, and volunteering with various organizations.
